25 Simple Self Care Exercises

Your go-to list for self-care inspiration

One of the most common mistakes we see people make with their wellbeing is overcomplicating their self-care.

Self-care doesn’t have to be this big, daunting, overwhelming process. Sometimes the most effective self-care strategies are the simplest and most practical to implement. Often the best self-care strategies are ones that seem too simple to actually make an impact.

To help you get started with a new self-care routine we’ve gathered 25 of our favourite self-care exercises and grouped them into the 3 main types of self-care:

  1. Physical Self Care
  2. Mental Stimulation Self Care
  3. Emotional Wellbeing Self Care

To get the most out of this article we recommend you read the entire list, choose at least ONE item per category, start implementing your new self-care practices straight away. Taking action on 3 self-care exercises is far more beneficial than thinking about taking action on 25 strategies.

Before we dive into the 25 strategies we wanted to give you the chance to unlock even more self-care and wellbeing techniques via our eLearning platform: PocketCoach.
